Dekart SIM card reader drivers for Linux
Dekart SIM card reader is a PC/SC compliant smart card reader that can be used to read SIM cards or any other type of ISO-7816 smart cards.
A Linux driver is now available, you can get it in DEB and RPM flavours (all of them are inside the archive): http://files.dekart.com/drivers/Dekart-DK38T-Linux-deb-rpm-tgz.zip

What does a SimCard Reader do actually? Just takes all the data from the SIM Card and makes available for viewing on tyhe internet?
I think while the idea does sound good in theory, I am a little worried that someone might get their hands on the data, so I will pass.

The data are not published on the Internet. The reader will retrieve the stuff for you, but what you do with the data afterwards is up to you.
